Una vez llegada la imagen a Pindal, ante el regocijo de los fieles y el orgullo del Padre Loaiza, fue solemnemente bendecida un día 8 de septiembre de 1926, año desde el cual se celebran devotos festejos en las fechas del 10 de julio, 8 de septiembre y 20 de diciembre.
